Use right after cleansing, as your first toner step
This is a first-step toner designed to be used immediately after cleansing. It contains AHA (exfoliating acid), BHA (pore-clearing acid), and PHA (gentle exfoliating acid) to gently sweep away lingering dead skin cells and excess sebum that cleansing alone can miss. It also preps your skin to better absorb the essences and serums that follow.
Start with your evening routine
Because this toner contains active acids, we recommend introducing it during your evening routine first. Once your skin has adjusted, you can use it morning and night. If you do use it in the morning, always follow with sunscreen, as acids can increase your skin's sensitivity to UV exposure.
Saturate a cotton pad and sweep across the skin
Soak a cotton pad or your hands generously with the toner, then gently sweep it along your skin's texture. Follow with light patting motions to help it absorb. The formula is a clear, water-like liquid that sinks in quickly without any sticky residue. Pay extra attention to areas prone to buildup, like around the nose and along the jawline.
Pair with the right next step for your skin concern
- If you're dealing with closed comedones or whiteheads: Follow with a lightweight, oil-free hydrating serum
- If shine is your main concern: Pair with an oil-free moisture cream to balance hydration and oil levels
- If rough texture is what bothers you: Layer a calming essence with panthenol or allantoin as your next step
Precautions when using acid-based products
This toner contains AHA, BHA, and PHA, so using it on the same day as retinol or other exfoliating treatments may cause irritation. If you're new to acids, start with 2 to 3 times per week and monitor how your skin responds. If you experience redness, swelling, or itching, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. Store away from direct sunlight and keep out of reach of children.
